Happy Happy Boy!!

What a happy birthday Kaden had! He got what he wished for! A Diego cake and a Game boy. I made sure he opened his game boy last so that he wouldn't loose interest in the other presents! Thanks everyone who came last night and for all the marvelous presents he got! It was a very memorable 3 year birthday!

Kaden opened this card and told me it was a hat and promptly put it on his head!

Here is a picture of his Diego cake. When he turned around and saw it on the table he got a wide smile on his face and was way excited! He quickly ran and got a fork out of the drawer and said "I wanna take a bite!" It was torture for him to wait unitl he had eaten one piece of pizza and blown out the candles before he got to sample Diego! Another great cake made by Paula!

Kaden got to spend the day with his Grandpa going to Malad to pick up his Uncle Kevin's horse. I know that he had a marvelous time with his PaPa riding in his truck and playin cowboy! A great birthday for a little boy! He couldn't have asked for better!!! We love you Kaden!!! Hope you're day was great!!

Family Time

Well, this busy and crazy week is just about over, and I'm kind of glad! I can only take so much caos! Our week has been a great one, with lots of time spent together and lots of memories made. Our Christmas was marvelous. The boys got scooters from Santa and Brooklyn got a baby doll that glows in the dark. How did Santa know that she needed her first doll? Amazing!!! They also got lots of other great things for Christmas including movies, books galore, toy guns from Grandpa, jammies from Grammy Y., and boxes of treasures from Grandma S. It was a great holiday spent with family. I cooked ham and cheesy potatoes and Kassandra made pies. Mom made brownies and carmel covered marshmellows. Delicious! I'm sure we all gained pleanty of weight from that meal! I got Jeff an MP3 player and he got me a CD and some scrubs. It was a absolutely wonderful Christmas. I have been off from work from Tuesday until today. I return to the hospital tomorrow. I have enjoyed the time off with my kids, but am ready to get back into a routine! It seems like just when I get one mess cleaned up, another is made. My youngest son is NOT a fan of cleaning up! Tomorrow my little Kaden James turns 3! I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital! He was my special blessing in December 3 years ago! I have very special memories of having him because it was the last of my babies that my dear Grandma Stockwell got to hold and see while I was recooperating in the hopital. She passed away about 1 1/2 years ago. I have a very special picture of her holding Kaden that I cherish very much. Kaden has brought so much joy to our family. He is more mellow then his brother, but can definetly put up a fight if he deems it necessary! He likes to sing and read stories and absolutely loves Lightening McQueen. God sent him to us to give Jackson a much needed little brother and Kaden idolizes Jackson for sure! We would be lost without our "little guy"! Tomorrow we are having a small party with family, so I'll be sure to post some pictures.

We all had a fabulous time together and the kids got exactly what they wanted (I think). Hope everyone had a great Holiday!!!

Busy busy bees!!!

Whew!!! It's been a busy few days! My posts on my blog show it! Thursday the kids got together at my house and played, so I wanted to post a picture of Kaden and Paxton playing. They just love each other and have become best buddies. It's wonderful to watch them! Friday was Jackson's Christmas party at school so the other two kids and I went and helped. Kaden thought it was wonderful being at brother's school! Saturday was Jeff's family Christmas party. It was great to see everyone and have all the cousins play together! Brooklyn was spoiled and passed around by everyone since she's the youngest baby right now! The kids had a pinata which is the part they wait for anxiously. Saturday and Sunday I have worked for home health, so I have not been home too much.

I have a wonderful friend Paula who makes cakes for people as a second business. Well, my husband bought me a cake for my birthday and Paula decided that since I absolutely love Starbucks, that that would be the perfect cake to make. So needless to say I was so shocked and surprised when I got home and saw this sitting on my counter! It was white chocolate caramel and absolutely delicious! I had a great birthday!

Tomorrow is the start of magic for the kids. I can hardly wait to see their little faces on Christmas morning! I love to snuggle them in their new jammies that they get on Christmas Eve! It's one of the reasons I give them to them every year! We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Just Another Day

Well, nothing much exciting has gone on the last couple of days. Our anniversary dinner was pizza from Pizza Hut. Kaden was very excited to give the check to the delivery man and very politely said "Thank you Pizza Hut" (My thoughts exactly!) Jackson gets to "ride" the Polar Express today at school. He was most excited that he gets to take his blanket and his woobie to school to enjoy it with him. I keep thinking that he's going to outgrow wanting his coveted woobie with him where ever he goes, but he hasn't so far. I have created monsters with all of my children and their lovies. Each one of them has one and they are all worn, but they are loved so much by the kids! If one is ever missing a search party is sent out at our house for them. Grandpa has specifically mad his house a "NO WOOBIE ZONE" much to Jacksons dismay! So if the boys ever want to spend the night, they leave them at home. I guess with Grandpa around they feel safe enough! I was able to get my Christmas presents wrapped on Sunday. It's been a job to keep them boys out of them. My mother in law and father in law stopped by last night and brought the kids an early present. It's this Fisher Price Manger scene! They just love it and it is so stinkin cute!! Thanks Wanda for the present!! Well, that's all that's going on for now. A certain someone I know has a important day tomorrow and she's feeling OLD!!! Maybe the day will pass and no one will notice and I can be 26 for another year!!!

8 Years and Counting

Well, tomorrow is our 8 year anniversary. This picture looks almost dated to me now. It's amazing how young we looked! Now we're just a couple of old married people! It's been a fantastic 8 years. There have been sad times, happy times, and times when both of us were ready to walk away, but through it all we have continued this journey together!!! In 8 years we have expanded from being a "couple" to now having a family!!! How boring we must have been back then! Looking back on all that we have accomplished together, how could I not be proud? We struggled in the beginning living on love and Jeff's $7.00 an hour job and me being in college. 3 cars, 2 houses , 3 kids, 4 jobs, 1 dog later here we are!! Our struggles in the past have made us who we are today! I love you Jeff more today then that day 8 years ago! Thank you for my "fairytale" life! I couldn't ask for better!!!

Hard Workin!!

Today was work day at the hospital. My friend Karla and I decided to wear our matchin frog spiderman scrubs. Don't we look marvelous? She takes a way cuter picture then I do that's for sure! I'm so thankful for the wonderful friends I have made at work. They make the day brighter. The boys spent today with Grandma. They were workin on a super secret Christmas present I think. Guess I'll have to wait to see it. It was a fun day filled with McDonalds for lunch, cousins to play with and hugs and kisses from Grandma too! I missed it since I was busy at work, but I know they had a fabulous time together! Another memory made!

5 Months Old!!!

Today my baby girl is 5 Months Old!!! She wouldn't smile this morning for anything, so this picture will have to do. She has been a wonderful addition to our family! We never knew we were missing a piece of the puzzle, but she completes us for sure! She's definetly the princess of the family and we are so blessed that she's ours! There's nothing like a little girl to show you what you were missing!

This is a picture of Jeff and I from last night. I have been getting some flack for not posting a picture of us, but I went ahead and did it. Just remember, I had a baby 5 months ago!! It was nice to have a dinner without kids last night. We will just call that our anniversary dinner since that's on Tuesday! Grandpa babysat the kids last night. (Thanks Dad!!) The kids just love and adore all their grandparents and I'm very lucky that they are all so close! The kids can see them pretty much any time they want. Today we are going to go to Blackfoot so Paxton and Kaden can play together. They love each other. I'll post some pictures of them tommorow maybe. It's nice to have cousins close by to grow up with. Jeff grew up with cousins and I know that to this day they are still his best friends. I'm excited for that to happen with my kids!

Time Together

I just wanted to post a couple pictures of my holiday decorations. This cute sign is from my wonderful friend Kim for my birthday. (she let me open it early!) She made it herself and I have to say that it is just adorable! Our tree is a lot of kids homeade ornaments this year. The kids just love to see their handy work up on the tree! Last night Jeff and I took the kids to get ice cream. There's a fabulous little ice cream shop in town that charges only a $1.00 a scoop! Can't beat that when you're a family on a budget! Jackson had a dentist appointment yesterday where he had a tooth filled because of something called "dysplasia" The dentist made a point of assuring me that it was NOT from bad brushing skills! I'm still a little skeptical though! HAHAHA That was a little tramatic for the little guy, but he made it through and the ice cream at the end of the day helped! Tonight Jeff and I have a dinner to attend for the hospital. It should be a nice night with grown ups! I have been employed there for 5 years now so they are rewarding me I guess! We are just going for the free food!! It's starting to snow lightly here this morning. I am really getting excited for Christmas to arrive! I just love seeing the looks on the kids face when they stumble out that morning!

Budda Baby

For those of you that aren't aware, my baby girl is quite large. It's a running joke that she eats straight cream. I am thinking strongly of adoping some starving babies in Africa to fattin them up. I have to say though, that it makes me proud that I am the one responsible for her being so healthy! That girl hasn't had but a few swallows of formula! (Thanks Aunt Kellie!) She went to the Drs office on Thursday for her well baby check up and her immunizations. She is a whopping 18 lbs! That's 90th percentile! And she is 24 inches long.....that's 25th percentile. What can I say, we grown them short and fat at our house! I'm just happy that's she's so healthy and happy! God truly blessed us with all of our healthy kids!

Seein Santa

I took the boys to see Santa on Sunday at the mall, so I just wanted to share some pictures of them havin a little chat with the jolly ole man. It's always an exciting time to tell him what you want to see under the tree.........

Our Saturday together

Well, it was our one Saturday together today. I have to work the remaining ones this month. But, that's ok, cause I think we made the best out of the one we had. The kids and I went to this fun place called Leo's place in Idaho Falls. We met my girlfriend Karla and her kids there for lunch and playtime. Leo's place is a lot like Chucky Cheese for those of you that have been there. So as you can imagine all the kids had a fabulous time! There was pizza, and pop a pleanty. They were worn out and Kaden and the baby slept peacefully in the car on the way home, while Jackson read in the backseat and chated with his mom. Tonight we're off to a Christmas party, so the kids will have even more fun before the day is over. I just want to share something so sweet that my first born son did this week.......at school this month that have had something called "Candy Grams" The purpose of these is to buy a candy gram and give it to a friend. So on Thursday morning Jackson was so excited cause I gave him the fifty cents it cost for a Candy Gram. He was really looking forward to buying one for his buddy Easton. So that afternoon he came running in the back door all excited to tell me about his experience when in his hand I see he is holding something. He was so excited, he blurt out "I bought a Candy Gram for my brother!" I could see he had neatly written to Kaden from Jackson on the slip of paper accompaning the candy cane. He handed it over proudly to his little brother along with a big hug and kiss. I in turn gave Jackson and big hug and kiss and told him how proud I was of him. It makes my heart so happy to see the brotherly relationship developing!!!!

The very first one

Well, here it is, my very first blog ever. Not even sure if I'm doing if right, but I guess I'll find out. So, I'll jump in with a little bit about our little family.....There is Jeff, age 31, enjoys pool, poker, hanging with the fellas. Next is Kris, age almost 27, (December 20 to be exact), enjoys playin with the kids, cooking, reading, shopping, card making. Then the kids are next, first Jackson, age 6. He enjoys hunting with Uncle Kevin, (seriously, it's all he talks about to anyone that will listen), reading, and playing his Game Boy. Our second little man of the house is Kaden age almost 3 (December 29). He enjoys following his brother around, helping his mom around the house, playing his brothers Game Boy, and watching tv. The baby of our fam is Miss Brooklyn Alyssa. She was born on July 14, 2007. She pretty much enjoys anything that involves her mommy!! Imagine that!! She also likes shopping, baths, and eating!!! So this gets you up to speed on our little fam. Like I said I'm new at this blogging thing, but I'm going to do my best!!!
