So....it's been a long long time since I posted last!!! Lots has changed in that little while!! Jason and I got married on Oct 10. It was a perfect day, with only a few small hiccups. But I guess it wouldn't be a wedding without a few things going wrong. The kids looked absolutely adorable. I promise to post pictures as soon as I get them. Thanks so much to everyone who was a part of our special day!!!

Jackson has wrapped up his fall football season. It is so much fun seeing how much he improves each time he plays. He makes me giggle how competitive he is and watching him interact with his friends. When two 8 year olds chest pump each other, it's impossible NOT to laugh!!

So I"ve decided to wrap this blog up and start a new one. So as soon as I get that one up and going I'll post the new name. I've decided to make this one into a book to have for scrapbook purposes, so if anyone can remind me how to do that I'd sure appreciate it!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather we've been enjoying! I hate cold, but love fall. It's by far my favorite!

The Naughty, Crazy, Oh So Loveable Miss B....

I love this little girls so much!!! She is wild and crazy and naughty and silly and sassy and we'd be lost without her!!! She has the funniest expressions and makes us laugh every day!! I have always wanted a little girly girl and boy did I get one!! She loves dresses!! Her favorite color is pink, she even points to anything pink whether it's on the tv or in a store and yells "Pink!!!" She loves her babies, and carries them around with her all the time. She continues to be my least pickiest child and will eat just about anthing...although she does not like fish sticks. She loves ketchup and yells when she sees it and needs some on her plate. She loves shoes and is very particular about which ones she wears. She loves to get her hair done and does a great job about sitting still for me so I can style it. She loves necklaces and bracelets and rarely leaves the house without a few of them on. She is a very friendly little girl and is always waving and saying hi to everyone. She loves Cinderella...and I mean LOVES her. We bought her a Cinderella potty chair and she carried it and hugged it all the way home!! I'm hopeing it'll be the jump start we need to potty training!!! And yes, she still loves her binki....what can I say.... She is talking a lot these days and one of my favorite things that she says is "MaGa"'. That's what she calls my mom. She yells it and gets so excited when she's talking to her on the phone. I just love to listen to her babble.

These pics are from yesterday. I was zoning out on the computer yesterday morning and finally clued into the fact that she kept saying messy baby. I glanced over and said oh no Brooklyn....and started laughing. I had been watching my friends foster baby, and Miss Brooklyn decided that her baby doll needed to eat just like babies. So she proceeded to feed her prunes. She did a pretty good job, only a little ended up on her dress and the carpet. It was pretty dang cute to see her pretending.

And this is Miss B after she gets into my purse and goes straight for the lipstick. She loves lipstick and lipgloss. I'm telling ya, girly through and through.

I think she is pretty dang adorable and would be lost without her. I'm so happy that I get to be her Mommy!!! Love Ya Miss B to the moon and back!!!!

Summer is over.....

Could it be that the summer is over?!?!? It feels like it hardly started!!! We've got one more trip planned for this coming weekend as our final goodbye to the warm lazy days of summer and hello to the structured life that school brings. We're planning on heading to Bear Lake on Saturday, which I am super excited for!!! I think the kids will love it!!!

Jackson started 3rd grade today!! His teacher seems awesome, so we're both really excited for that. He picked the desk in the front row right smack in the middle. Such a good choice for a little boy that is going to be working on his listening skills this year!!!

Kaden was a little sad that Jackson was gone today, and was in fact crying today when I called him this morning. But his frown turned upside down when he realized that the babysitter has some special plans for while the big kids are gone!!!

So the kids are doing great!!! Jackson is signed up for flag football this fall, so that'll be good for him. Miss Brooklyn is her usual happy, naughty, loving self!!! I'll try to post new pictures soon.

And by the way, these are my new favorite treats!!! I got them at Cosco after being encouraged to do so by my friend Maggie, and can I just say, that they are seriously so yummy!!! And the best part, they're only 150 calories per pouch of yummy strawberry goodness. Although I must confess, I've eaten 2 today. Get some, you'll love them!!!

So this summer has been soooo much fun, and it's sad to see it coming to an end, but getting back to a routine with school and such will be nice. I wanted to share a few pics with everyone. A couple are from the 4th of July, a couple from our birthday cakes for the birthday boy and princess from last month, and a couple from my try at a science experiment of sorts. It was for the receipe for Goup, but it did NOT turn out like it said it would at all!! But the kids had fun making a mess with it anyway!!!

This was last weekend, all the kids and Jason and I went to the local trampoline gym for a couple hours. The kids had a blast and were very worn out!!

A Week in Review....

So for the last few weeks of summer, I'm going to try and just post things from the last week. We've been busy busy so I haven't had too much time to post much. So...let's start with our last week...

1***Dinner with my mom and Jason at Applebees...yummo
2***Date night Tuesday, we saw The Hangover..super funny, does my soul some good to laugh loud!!!
3***The last of the boys TBall games for the summer
4***A bye for Football this week
5***The first time we had corn on the cob this summer...so so good!! Enjoyed by all!!
6***A quick visit with my Grandpa...always good to see him!
7***Free lunch at the park 3 days this week
8***Going to the library for some good summer reads for all of us..nothing like reading in the sunshine
9***Took the kids to see this today...spent most of the movie in the lobby with my McNasty 2 year old..but I heard it was cute

10***And finally....I did something, I'm still in shock...I hope I can do it....I signed up for my very first 5K run...I may die...I hope someone knows CPR on the route...but, running with my girlfriends will be a memory right? And who knows, I may just like it!!! Its on the 18th...I still have a week to talk myself out of it....

It's been so long since my last post, but it's because we've been super super busy!! On the few days that we've had sunshine, we've made sure to soak it up!!! I'll post pictures on my next post, and there will be a lot just a heads up!!

TBall is in full swing!! (I'm so clever with words!! Ha Ha!!!) Both boys are doing so great!! Jackson's games are more fast paced then Kaden's so I do like that. Both of them seem to be enjoying it very much. Jackson is doing Football on Thursday nights. It's fun to see how he's improved since last year. He has done really well, getting an interception his first game and a making a freaking A*MAZE*ING catch for a touchdown his 2nd game!! You should see his little face light up! And of course his mommy is screaming and jumping up and down like a maniac!! Such a stage mom I know. You'd be embarrassed if you were sitting next to me. You should all feel sorry for my mom who usually is sitting next to me!

This last week we had Jason's girls for 3 days, so Jason cashed in a few vacation days and we made some fun fun plans. We went to Lagoon on Wednesday and had so much fun! The lines were virtually non existent and the weather was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for better really!! I think all the kids had a blast! The next day Thursday we went to the pool after Jackson's TBall game and spent a few hours swimming and soaking up more sun. (As evidenced by the super great sunburns Jason and I and Grandma are all sporting). Friday was rainy, so I bought some bead crafts for the kids and we stayed indoors after a quick run to the park for the free lunch.

Thank you sun for coming out for the last few days! We thoroughly enjoyed you!

Hope every ones summer is off to as good a start as ours! Stay tuned for pictures....I just have to find the time

This post contains A LOT of pictures...be warned!!! We've been super busy but having oh so much fun lately!!!

T Ball started!! Each boy has 2 games a week. That's a lot of ball!!! I can only go to a few games, but since Jeff is not currently working, he is able to make it to every game, so the boys always have at least him and Miss B cheering them on!!! The grandparents each come when they can and the boys just eat the attention up!!! Jackson's game are especially entertaining because they actually get to get the kids out and keep score this year. It's amazing to see how much improvement he has made since he first started. This is Kaden's first year, but he's got a great arm on him and can hit really well too, so it's fun to watch him too!

My Grandpa was in town from Oregon last week. We celebrated his visit and the extra warm weather by buying a slip and slide and putting it to good use. My sister and her kids came down for the fun and there were popscicles enjoyed by all....

2 weeks ago was my long weekend off with all the kids here. So we had a jam packed weekend planned. On Friday we all made the long drive to Boise to pick the girls up. We got them around lunch time, then stopped in Twin Falls on the way home at a park. It was good to stretch our legs and see my aunt and her girls. That Saturday we went to Idaho Falls with my mom and sister and her family and went to the zoo and park up there. The kids had a great time running around and seeing all the animals. Sunday brought church. Afterwards we went to the hummingbird banding in American Falls. Every May at a house just past Indian Springs a huge flock (I guess that's what it's called) of hummingbirds migrate and volunteers there weigh, measure, and band these teeny tiny creatures. They then let the kids hold them in their hands until they fly off. Sometimes the birds fly away quick, but sometimes they just sit in your hand for a bit. The kids thought this was so neat and I have to say that it was!!! My mom got some even better pictures, so I'll post some of those later.

Last Day of School...Mr.Cool

I call this picture Mr Cool. This was on the last day of school last week. He has been bugging me everytime I take him for a haircut to dye his hair blue, so I being the awesomely hip mom that I am bought blue hair gel. I refused to walk around with a child with blue hair for weeks, so we chose the temporary choice. He has been loving mohawks lately, so this is what he looked like on the last day. No more 2nd grade, onto 3rd. The funny thing about this hair do of his...I cut it all off that afternoon.

Well, tomorrow is Jackson's offical last day of school, but we celebrated today. There was a carnival at school that the younger two kids and I went and helped at. We were in charge of the bean bag toss. The kids had a blast!! There was cotton candy, baseball, and all sorts of fun games to play. After that party was over, it was on to the movie. We saw Night at the Museum 2. It was good!! The boys loved it, and little Miss B I think is still too little for movies. Her and I did a lot of up and down, so what I did see was good. Tomorrow Jackson only has a half day, then he has T ball practice tomorrow night. Kaden's first T Ball practice is Friday and he's very excited! His dad took him to the store this morning to buy his mitt and he's carried it around with him everywhere today!! We're so excited for summer to begin!!!!

Quick Update.....

So sorry that it's been so long since my last update!!! Life has been busy!! But oh so much fun!!! The boys have started TBall practices twice a week, and Jackson will be having football practices and games starting the first week of June. So there will be lots of sports action going on at our place!!!

I've been staying pretty busy at work lately. Although, I'm happy to report that I get an EXTENDED weekend off!!! That's right, 5 days off in a row!!! Whoo Whoo!!! I'm so excited!! Jason's girls will be joining us Friday, and I have some fun things planned for those few days. I'll post pictures of all the festivities.

I'm happy to report that the gym membership is being put to great use!! I've been going 3-4 times a week every week since I joined. I'm loving the Hip Hop class, along with a few other classes that I've been trying out. I have to say, I've been sore in muscles I didn't know I had lately.

This here is a picture of my new absolute favorite thing.....V8 juice hot and spicy!!! So delicious, I think I could have 3 a day!!! It may just replace my long time fav Diet Dr Pepper (maybe).

This is the book I finished today at work...(Super Slow day!!!!)...I read it in about 3 days. If you haven't read it, I absolutely recommend it!!! I loved it!!!

Hope everyone is doing as fine and dandy as we are!!! Only 4 1/2 days of school left!! Jackson has a BBQ tomorrow that the little ones and I will be crashing to eat with him. He has his field trip today to the zoo and Ft Hall Replica. He said his favorite as the Lynx..he even asked his teacher if he could pet it....I swear that kid!!!

Dinner is always so much more tasety when you having matching dishes, don't you think??? A friend from work picked these adorable plastic dish sets in 6 different colors from IKEA for the kids. And have they been popular at our house!!! Each set includes a cup, a plate, a bowl, and silverware to boot. Thanks Shirley for thinking of us!!!

I haven't posted in a really really long time, so I'm warning all of you that there are a ton of pictures!!

When I was scrolling through my pictures, I found these...looks like the boys were being goofy with my glasses and the camera. They look pretty stinkin adorable in glasses though I think.

I couldn't find Miss B one day. After searching the house here is where I found her....asleep under the boys bed. She woke up just as I took the picture.

On the Saturday before Easter the kids and Jason went up to my sisters place for the afternoon. I had to work that weekend, so I was only able to be there for an hour or so. The kids had such a blast playing in the dirt, and having an egg hunt in Aunties house.

These are out of order, but this is the kids checkin out thier loot from the egg hunt on Easter Sunday. Teresa's family has this big get together and HUGE egg hunt. And the best part about this egg hunt??? They put money in the eggs!!! Alli got $17!!! Jackson had the second best with $11!! CRAZY!!! So, we've decided to pool the money for a Wii game we can all enjoy!!

Well, it's been a crazy week! We've had fun times and not so fun times! Let's see if I can give a quick re cap without boring everyone....

Last week was Spring Break for Jackson. I unfortunately had to work most of it, but I did have my usual Thursday and Friday off. So, Jason took those 2 days off and we were up for an adventure. My friend Kim and her kids had gone to Salt Lake for a little over nighter, so I decided why not go down for the day? So we brought my step sister Erica along for the fun and hit I 15 to Utah. The forcast called for snow, but we got so lucky and the weather was really great, just cold. We went to the Living Aquarium in Sandy Utah for a few hours, and then went to the Mayan Restaurant for dinner. The aquarium was so much fun!! The kids LOVED it! Jackson really liked the touch pond where you could touch a ray. Kaden tried, but his arms just weren't long enough. Such a fun place! We'll definetly head back sometime. Then it was onto the Mayan for an early dinner. I had heard stories of this place but had never been. And oh my heck, the kids just loved it. It's a mexican restaurant that has cliffs and pools and is decorated just like Mayan places. The best part is the show you get with the cliff jumpers that jump into the pool. So fun!!! At one point it sounded like a thunder storm and they made it seem like it was raining. The kids just thought it was amazing!

So Friday I had planned another day of fun just being together, and wouldn't you know it I woke up SICK and I mean sick! I have had a cold for 3 weeks now and on Friday it decided to turn into a whopper of a sinus infection! I had a fever, aches, my teeth hurt, the whole shebang. It was miserable. I finally agreed to see the dr, got on antibiotics, and slowly but surely I'm getting back to normal. I have never in my life been sick for a whole month!!

Monday I got a call from the babysitter and Miss B had a fever, so I took her in and she had an ear infection. So now that she's on antibiotics and doing better, I'm hoping that we can return to our healthy selves!!

Jasons girls were with us this last weekend, and it happened to be his oldest Alli's birthday. She turned the big 10. So we had an afternoon of skating, pizza, and laser tag, then home for cake and presents. Jason had decided to get her a singing disney game for the Wii. What a hit!! The kids have played it non stop since! It is hilarious to listen to them belting out Hannah Montana and High School Musical.

And finally, the big new in Kaden's life.....he drew to be an alternate for the Mutton Buston at the Dodge Rodeo in town next weekend. It'll be Friday Night April 10th. So if you're there, be sure to watch for him. He is so excited, I just hope he gets a chance to ride. His grandpa is quite excited too!!

I can't believe it....I said I never would get one. I HATE video games! I'd much rather have my kids playing outside then sucked into a video game. But, desperate times call for desperate measures. I gave in, I got a Wii. I've decided that I have to have something to take away from children that misbehave. As Dr Phil says, I have to get to the heart of them. Take away something they love. And they LOVE the Wii! Everyone I know that has one loves it, so maybe I will eventually too. I'll be sure to post pictures of the Wiitards in the days to come, that is if they are ever not grounded from it!!!

New Shoes and Tutus....

Well, another busy week has flown by!! Time flys when you're having fun they say, and we've been having lots of fun lately so I guess that saying is true!!

Friday I took the kids shoe shopping. Boys wear out their shoes so dang quick it seems!! Brooklyn did not however need a pair of shoes to add to her collection, so she got this stinkin cute tutu instead!! I have to say she looks adorable in it! She loves to twirl and call herself pretty these days. Such a girly girl and I LOVE it!! I just hope it lasts!!

I painted her toes and fingernails for the first time the other day. She knew she was cute! She kept showing them off to everyone that would look. She held really still and waiting for them to dry. I guess all the time of sitting still while I do her hair each morning has helped!

This weekend Jason had his girls and I had mine, so we decided to head to Idaho Falls for the afternoon. We went to the Titanic exhibit at the Museum. It was super neat and the kids really enjoyed it! I defintely recommend it. It's open till September, so you have pleanty of time! After the Museum we did a quick stop at the mall (no easy feat with 5 kids!!!), then went to Toys R Us. I let my kids each pick out a toy, (with a little assistance for Miss B). This is what they each picked.....

Jackson picked something called Bakugan Brawlers. I tried my best to talk him out of it. They were $13.00 for 3 little balls!!! Are you kidding me?!?! But he has been in love ever since. It's all I've heard is Bakugan this and Bakugan that. And you wanna know the best part??? One is already broken....perfect

Kaden picked this...a peg horse. He even picked the one that didn't make noise specifically. So cute. He loves to gallop around on his horse that he has proudly named Peppy. Thought of the name all on his own.

And Brooklyn got this counting pig from Fisher Price. She has been packing it all over the house. Her brothers are even enjoying playing with it. Forget that it say up to ages 3.

The other thing Miss B has been into a lot since Christmas is babies. Anything babies she loves!! I caught her wiping her baby down with the wipes today. So cute!!!

And finally, to wrap up this really long post, this is what I saw when I got Brooklyn up from her nap earlier this week. I knew she loved her binki, but seriously??? 2 at once?? Maybe it's time to think about giving them up....Nah

Why does it seem to me that kids these days are out of school more often then they are in? Jackson has yet another 2 days off from school this week. That means more fighting, more tantrums, more screaming......we won't even mention what the kids do!! It's freezing here today, so the park is out of the question....hmmmmm does McDonalds care if you're there for 8 hours? We're going to try and hang in there...I may just loose my mind

10 Things....

So not much has been going on the last couple weeks....but for the sake of posting and keeping everyone updated, I'll give a quick 10 things that have happened. 5 good, 5 bad...here goes
We'll start with the good...

Good

1**I got flowers on Tuesday from a sweet boy I know and kind of like...maybe just a little, ok, maybe more then a little!!
2**I got plastic drawers and organized the kids closet and clothes
3**I got a super cute new purse last Friday---so so cute...I should post a picture...hmmmm
4**I still have a job...in these times, I should learn to be thankful for what I've got....the hospital has been slow and I've been blessed to not have to take low census yet...other people have not been so lucky...
5**Got my taxes done...whew...I was really worried about them, but they turned out so so much better then I expected!!!

Ok...now the bad

1**Jackson got a blue ticket at school...and blue does not mean well behaved boy just so you know
2**Jackson took $5.00 from my purse...bought some powerball tickets with the money (that's a whole other bad post)....BUT.....the bad part I'm bringing up for now....the tickets were NOT winners...bummer
3**It's still rainy/snowy, and COLD!!! I want Sunshine, I want Shorts, I want flip flops...
4**Brooklyn's favorite word continues to be...NO... I keep praying for new words to develop...like Mommy, you're so beautiful...(hey a mommy can dream right?!?!)
5**Still no strawberries at Cosco...I'm still waiting...this is a very very bad thing....

So...that's about all I can come up with for now..... Hope someone smiled!!!!

Well, our Valentines Day turned out to be just wonderful. It was a day I had planned for a few weeks and I was super excited to see the kids reactions.

The morning brought a decorated table with little presents for each child. There was boxes of chocolates, kites, jump ropes and frisbees, and a princess braclet for Brooklyn. The girls wore bright pink shirts that day and the boys wore red. Jason's girls were with us for the weekend. I had braided each of their hair in hearts just for the day. Breakfast was pink heart pancakes, bacon, eggs, and strawberries with whipped cream. After breakfast Jackson had a basketball game, so we went and watched him play. Lunch was heart shaped grilled cheese and tomato soup. We decorated sugar cookies after that. One of the presents was Madagascar 2 so we watched that and had candy till we were sick. Dinner was heart shaped pepperoni pizzas. It was a day of sticky messes that ended with bathes for everyone...Miss B got hers in the sink. She thought it was a little strange at first, and then enjoyed it very much. My back enjoyed it much better then bending over the tub, that's for sure!! Our Valentine's Day was a great one for sure! The kids were happy and knew it was a special day. Each of the girls got a rose from Jason, (even my mom), I got some of my favorite flowers and a spa gift certificate!! So excited for that!!! Hope everyone days was one filled with love like ours was!!!

Week in Review....

What a week!!! So many fun things happened during the weekend.

Jackson had his first basketball game. He LOVED it! He's never played basketball before, so he was anxious to try it. He did so great! He even made a basket!! The smile on his face was huge and his arms went up in the air! We can't wait for his game next Saturday!

On Saturday, we also went to the roller skating rink in town. I'd post pics, but they turned out really dark, so you can't make out whos who. The boys loved it. Jackson spent a lot of time on the ground, but that boy just wouldn't give up! He'd fall and get right back up! Talk about determined! They let you stroll your little ones around in a stroller while you're skating, so even Miss B got to participate. She thought it was fabulous! Kaden thought it was alright. After falling down a couple times, he'd had enough. So he just enjoyed eating pizza and playing on the big toy they have there.

On Saturday night, I knew we were going to be going to church on Sunday morning, so I attempted to put curlers in Brooklyns hair. She has been doing really well holding still these days when I do her hair in the mornings. It's so much fun having a girl and doing new styles everyday. So the curlers went in great, but as soon as I laid her down she yanked them out. So I think next time we'll just put them in in the morning and let them dry. It was hilarious doing it though, cause it brought back memories of my sister and I having our hair put in curlers on Saturday nights!!

My mom bought Brooklyn this dress a couple years ago at the State Fair believe it or not. It finally fits, and I have to say that she was so stinkin cute! She kept touching her dress and saying "pretty" She is such a girl!!! I love it!!

We've all had colds this week, so we're all a little sleep deprived and grumpy, but hopefully we're getting better soon! Jackson is still doing great in school. He was excited to show me his spelling test Tuesday night cause he'd gotten 100%. He's been doing wonderfully in his reading too. Kaden is loving preschool at Paulas too. This week was the letter T. He took a Thomas the Train book to share and they made turtles. I took Brooklyn to the Dr yesterday for her well child check up. She weighed in at 29 lbs. She's doing great and has learned to follow some short directions. She's learning more and more words everyday. It dawned on me yesterday as she was standing on the scale that she's not a baby anymore, but a toddler. She looks so grown up....sigh...

So I posted a song on here for the boys. It's Citizen Soldier by Three Doors Down. They LOVE this song. You may recognize it if you frequent the movie theaters much, since they play it during the previews in most movies. My boys are mezmorized every time it comes on!! So this one is for them....

Not much going on round our little home lately. Jackson has Grandparents night at school tomorrow which his Grammy and Grampy are coming to take him to and my dad will meet them there. Unfortunately my mom won't be able to make it. My Grandma Virginia passed away on Monday, so my mom is back there preparing for the funeral. I'll be heading out Friday to make it for the services on Saturday. It's a sad occasion for sure, but it'll be good to see family and give my grandpa a hug in person! If you scroll down to one of my older posts, you'll see a pic of me and her with my grandpa. They sure loved each other and he took care of her right up to the end. They were so cute to watch. Loved each other very much that's for sure.

Birthday Party....

This is a little bit late... I've been super busy at work, sorry. I finally started my three days off on Wednesday. I felt like I hadn't been home since Chistmas!! But, now life is back to normal.

So, Kaden turned 4 on the 29th of December. He was so excited for his birthday! We celebrated on New Years Day at Outer Limits. It's a pizza fun zone in town. So we had pizza, wings, soda and lots of tokens to play the games. Then back to our place for presents and cake. He really wanted a Star Wars cake, so that's what he got. I was able to find him a matching light saber, and Clone Wars outfit. He loved it. He also got a McQueen car, playdough, a container full of army med(another favorite toy), new snow boots, and some puzzles. He was a very spoiled boy.

Kaden is definetly a middle child. He is way more laid back then Jackson. He is my cuddle boy. He is always thinking of his brother, and will make sacrifices just to make sure Jackson is happy. I hope someday Jackson can learn to appreciate this! Kaden has learned a lot this year at preschool at his day care. He loves to sing ( he was singing his lungs out in the bathroom at the ice cream parlor last night!!), loves to imagine with toys, and loves to read. If you ask him his favorite letter, he smiles sweetly and reports W. We love him very much!

New Years Eve.....

Here are the pictures from New Years Eve.... I realized after I posted them that the first picture should be at the end. This is the picture of what happens when you let you 18 month old stay up until Midnight celebrating and enjoying the party....MELT DOWN!!! But, oh we had so much fun, so if was definetly worth it! We went to Shelley and partied at my friend Karla's house with her family and her sister Kari and her family. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard. There was 9 kids between us all and it was a blast! My boys loved the kareoke machine! Even Miss B channeled her inner diva and sang her lungs out! It was a great way to ring in the new year. There was great food and super friends! Jackson especially loved the chicken wings. What can I say, he takes after me. We love our hot wings!! Thanks for letting us come up for the party Karla, and for letting us sleep over as to avoid the crazies on the road!! The monster unleashed.....

My sister and her family got the boys an army tank and an army jet. They LOVE them! My boys are so into soldier things!! This was by far the most popular gift received at our house! And they played quite well with each other, and switched back and forth. Miss B got a bunch of necklaces in her stocking and Jackson got her a little purse set with bracelts. She got all prettied up in her bling and took her baby for a stroll.

It's so fun for me to watch how different is Brooklyn is from her brothers. She is SUCH a girl!! She loves her babies and lookin pretty. My mom got her some bottles for her babies, and she went and found one right away to give her a drink. This is my fabulous mom with Brooklyn.

Jackson got some guns from my mom. The boys have had lots of fun with a gun each and a walkie talkie. Playing army of course!

I was so excited to give Brooklyn this present! I found the complete Snow White set. She got the dress, the crown, the apple purse, the red satin gloves, the necklace, and the wand. The only thing we're missing is the shoes, but I didn't want any broken ankles just yet. She loves to dress up and look pretty. I'm thinking of getting a new set every year. I believe in equal opportunity princess exposure. Although, I saw the Sleeping Beauty set the other day and OH MY GOSH!!! Maybe a Valentines Day present????

We had such a fun Christmas and hope everyone else did too! Santa brought Jackson an MP3 player. He really wanted an IPOD, but Santa didn't think a 7 year old had the responsibility those require. What a smart Santa! Brooklyn got a baby set with stroller, bed, diaper bag. I think there was 5 things in the set. So cute! And Kaden got exactly what he asked for.....a Yo Yo. He was so happy!! I love Christmas with my kids! The looks on their faces is priceless! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making our Christmas GREAT!!!

What a fun weekend we've had!!!! It was my birthday yesterday, and we've celebrated fantastically!!! Friday night was Creeksides Chrsitmas party. It was a yummy prime rib dinner. Yesterday morning my friend Roxann brought me a yummy homeade cinnamon roll for breakfast and a recipe box full of her own recipes. I'm so excited, she's and AMAZING cook!! My two best friends Kellie and Kim got me my very own espresso maker!! It is so great that I can be my own barista now!! And so much cheaper!!!. Last night Jason took me to my favorite restaurant in town The Sandpiper. My friend Paula surprised me with a cute pink and white sparkly cake that was chocolate peanut butter. I realized I'd forgotten to take a picture of it until after I had cut off a couple slices so that's why the picture of the half eaten cake is there. We were just so excited to taste it I got ahead of myself!!

Today the kids have decorated gingerbread houses, and we also all went to see the movie Bolt in 3D. The boys really liked it, however Kaden refused to wear his 3D glasses, so he didn't get the full effect. I had never seen a movie in 3D and enjoyed it a lot myself!! Tonight is my family birthday celebration. We're going to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. Thanks for all of the cards, texts, and presents. I love you all!! Thanks for making my day special and making me feel very loved and spoiled!!!

So, here's the last of the pics that I wanted to get posted. Sorry they're a little out of order. The family pics and kid group pic was from Family night at Portneuf Medicals Employee Appreciation night. They were taking pics for free and then I can purchase them later. So I figured why not. I'm not so sure I love how they turned out, so I'm not sure I'll order any yet.

The middle one out of order is of me and my cute grandparents in Oregon. Over Thanksgiving weekend I had an opportunity to go to Portland and see some family. So I snapped a pic with them. I hate hate hate myself in pictures, but I think that one turned out pretty cute.

This weekend the kids get to be at Daddy's house. I'll be droppin them off and then hopefully getting some much needed Christmas shopping done! I do have Santa presents bought, but that's about it.

I work Saturday at the hospital, Saturday night is a girls night out celebration for the December birthdays. It'll be fun to go out and be with friends . We've made reservations at a resturant in town called Senang. We've been there before and been impressed, so hopefully we won't be disappointed this time.

So I had a few minutes, so here's just two quick photos.... The first one is the boys in a tank at the air show that we attended in Mt Home in September. It was such a great weekend with family! My grandpa and grandma flew in for the weekend, plus my brother was there showing his stuff off. The boys just adores that Uncle Kevin flys in an airplane. He's my boys hero. We love you dear brother of mine....

So honestly, I can't belive that it's December. And I know that I've been saying since October that I was going to post pictures of the kiddos, and I am, I swear. It's just so dang hard to get to a computer to download photos...I know it sounds like a likely excuse. I am going to put some up soon I promise!

Hope everyones Thanksgiving holiday was fabulous! The kids and I got to eat together at my great friend Roxann's house. It was so much fun! The kids loved playing with the other kids and when we were backing out of the driveway to go home, they were asking if we could go back tomorrow. The kids spent the actual Thanksgiving holiday with their dad and his family, and I know the kids talked a lot about all the fun they had with their cousins.

I'm working home health again this weekend, so this is going to be a super quick post. But I swear, pictures to come!!

Hello!!! Life has been fun and crazy! My posts haven't been quite up to speed since I don't have a computer at home anymore! But I will post pictures soon, promise. We had a busy October!

Halloween was fun for the kids as usual. Candy overload is always fun right? Jackson has his usual party at school and Kaden had a little party at daycare that we went to. Jackson dressed up as a ninja, Kaden was Batman, and Miss Brooklyn was a duck. Super cute they were! Jeff came over and we carved pumpkins the night before Halloween. The kids enjoyed that. Brooklyn just enjoyed eating her pumpkin. It has little bite marks all around it. I swear that girl will eat anything!

Brooklyn had her 15 month appt this month. She was 27 pounds. She's now offically a walker and is loving it! She's finally gotten enough hair that I'm having lots of fun styling everyday, and she's having lots of fun ripping it out as soon as I'm not watching!!! Naughty!!

The boys are just runnin around wild as usual. Jackon has a program at school on Friday where he plays the part of a skunk. Should be cute!!

Month in Review......

Ok, so I know it's been a super long time since I posted anything, but in my defense I've been super busy!!! So I'll do my best to try and remember everything.

The airshow in Boise was awesome! It was every little boys dream to be able to climb on the planes and see tanks up close. It completely satisfied my boys we are soldiers thoughts! It seems like they play soldiers more often then any other children I know, and that weekend there was a lot of shootin the bad guys going on! It was a great weekend with family!

We've had picture day at school, so as soon as I get those, I'll try and post them. We've also had another dentist appointment for Jackson. He was super brave and got his little cavity filled without a problem.

This last weekend the kids and I went to stay with my Grandpa in Logan. It was their time to get filthy dirty and play outside all day. There was some super pretending going on. I love to just listen to them while they're doing that. The highlight of the trip was when Great Grandpas dog killed a chicken. Poor Kadens eyes were as big as saucers describing it to me. It's all they've talked about since.

And finally during this last week, our wonderful Uncle Kevin has been here visiting and staying with us. My kids just adore him! I wish we could see him more like once a week instead of once a month! There's been lots of family dinners this week...Sunday was at the Texas Roadhouse for Kassandra's birthday and Wednesday night was at Remos since that's Kevins favorite place to eat. We go every year when he's in town.

The kids have been adjusting to life I think. They seem to be getting the schedule down. Jackson got to go to his Grammy's house overnight with two of his other cousins and have Grammy Camp! He was so excited to come home last night and show off their projects! Brooklyn has been taking more and more steps this week. Probably by next week she'll be off and running. Kaden's been loving preschool at Paula's. He love to tell me about what they've done when I call him from work.

It's amazing to me that it's September already!!! Before we know if we'll be doing Christmas shopping I think!!

Another busy week flown by. Jackson is doing great in school so far!! He says he still likes his teacher, so that's a bonus. His dad let me know that Jackson did choose to walk home all by himself yesterday. He thinks he's so big! But, at least he beat the bus home!!! There's a big lecture from mom coming tonight about riding the bus!!! Kaden has started preschool at daycare! He was so excited when we went to buy his very own school supplies!! This week was the letter B. They even have show and tell. He chose to bring his bird binoculars. They also wore aprons and were bakers and made banana bread. Paula said it was quite adorable! And Miss Brooklyn is just as cute as ever! She is still just walking along furniture. She will be daring once in a while and let go, but only for a few seconds! But, I'm sure she'll be taking off in no time! She did have a molar break through the other day. I didn't even realize she was teething, cause she hasn't seemed extra grouchy or anything! What a good girl!!

The kids and my mom and I are off to Boise on Friday morning. We're leaving at around 5 am to be able to get to the airport by 8am. My grandparents from Portland are flying in! And then my brother will be in that same morning! There is an air show in Mountain Home this weekend and Kevin was able to get his plane in it! I'm so excited to see him and I know the boys are gonna absolutely flip when they get to see Uncle Kevin with his plane! They love anything to do with soldiers or airplanes! I'll be taking lots of pictures and post them when we get back!

Well, this last week has been a busy on!! We're here and doing well though. I moved and am settled into the "brown house". The kids are happy with their new set of bunk beds. We've been enjoying our days together hanging out and watching movies at night.

Jackson is doing well in school so far. He breezed through his homework without a problem, and is continuing to read just fabulously!! Kaden and I are enjoying our extra time together just him and I while Jackson is in school and Brooklyn is napping. Plus, I'm enjoying just having two kids while I run errands. You wouldn't think not having one would make that much of a difference, but it sure does.

We spent yesterday in Blackfoot, watching the parade and then enjoying the fair together with my mom and sister and her two kids. The boys love lookin at all the animals. We also watched Erica do her demonstration on how to shear a sheep. The boys were mesmerized.

This next week will be a busy one. I work tomorrow, Labor Day, and then I take off to Utah after work. My grandpa will be having triple bypass surgery. So if everyone could remember him and my family in your prayers this week. We'll be at McKay Dee in Ogden most of the week. We're all a little nervous to say the least, but we know he's in good hands. I'll be coming back either Tuesday night or Wednesday, to have my days with the kids, then they spend the weekend with their dad. I'll be working home health this weekend. So you may not get another post for a bit. Hope everyone is doing well.....

Clean Teeth, New School, New House....

Well, it been awhile since I posted last. So sorry!! Not too much going on until this week.

The boys had a dentist appointment. Jackson has an old filling that needs repaired, but other then that they both got clean teeth awards!! The denist they go to is so cute. The waiting room is decorated so cute! They have a huge tooth fairy flying from the ceiling. Makes me wish that they took adult patients instead of just pediatric!!

Jackson also had his first day of second grade!! He posed himself in the pictures I took. In one he's holding up peace signs. He told me this means peace out mom. My little gangster. His teacher this year has a reputation of being quite strict. I'm hoping that that will help Jackson. He definetly needs discipline!! Hopefully he'll come out a better student. So we'll just wait and see. So far so good. He seems to like her just fine.

I've found a townhouse to rent. I move on Monday. I'm hoping to get most everything put away by the time the kids come on Wednesday night. But, we'll see. It's a really cute place, came with a washer and dryer. The place has been well taken care of and it looks practically brand new. I drove the kids by and they seem excited. The place is brown siding, so now Kaden associates where he's going by either the brown house or the yellow house. Kind of cute I think. They seem to be adjusting well to the changes. I think it'll be good to have our own place with our own routine. Although, we've all enjoyed being at Grandmas, we're excited for our own home again. I'll let ya know how moving goes!

Everyday Life.....

We've been pretty dang busy this last week or so!!! So, I'll do my best to catch you all up on the comings and goings of us.....

Let's go back to last Thursday... We went to the summer movie at the Reel Theater. It was Horton Hears a Who. The boys loved it!! Miss B however....is not the least bit interested in movies! Imagine that huh? But she happily crawled around the theater aisles and enjoyed sneaking popcorn off the floor when her mommy wasn't watching. We went with a couple gals from work and their kids. My friend Susan has a litle boy named Jacob that is the same age as Kaden. They had fun together. At one point they were sitting on the front row together thinking that they were pretty hot stuff!! But, they also enjoyed that they were both potty training. The little boys and I made 3 trips to the bathroom during the course of that 1 1/2 hour movie!!! But it was a great time spent together.

That night I left to my quick weekend trip to the Seattle area for my cousins wedding. This was a huge accomplishment for myself since...... I HATE TO FLY!!! After much anxiety, I landed safely at SEA-TAC airport it was a busy couple days with family. The wedding had all the key components...a beautiful bride, great food, and of course....the father daughter dance where all the dads were crying just as much as the daughters. (Thanks for that dad!!!) I drove back with Dad, Teresa, and Erika. We pulled back home at 1 am.... remember everyone that I work at 445am! So...needless to say I was pretty dang exhausted Monday!! Not to mention quite grumpy too!!

I worked today, but now am off till Saturday. The kids are with me until Friday night. So we enjoyed dinner together tonight, thus the corn pictures. It was really tastey and everyone loved it!! Jackson will be getting registered for 2nd grade on Thursday, other then that, not much planned for the rest of the week....

An Afternoon of Fun.....

The kids and I had a great afternoon with my friend Kim and her kids Eben and Tenley. We ate the automatic choice when you have 5 kids under the age of 7..... McDonalds!!! After the cheeseburgers and nuggets were eaten and several trips down the Playland slide we made our way over to the afteroon showing of Pixar's newest flick.... Wall e The boys seemed to really like it. Miss B was quite grouchy since it was nap time. After I finally got her to sleep then I could attempt to enjoy the show myself. And my grade on this movie.....C It was definetly not my favorite by them. I was a little disturbed that all of the people in the cartoon were so overweight and lazy! Maybe it's just cause I started watching late, but I'm not sure why they had to look like that. Does anyone know? But, my opinion isn't the one that really matters......the boys liked it, so.....worth it!!

On Sunday my mom and I took the kids to Ross Park to do a little cooling off. The kids loved it of course. Brooklyn loves the water just as much as her older brothers! She splished and splashed till she finally crashed for her nap. The boys really enjoyed the slide and high fiving the lifeguards. I just love Miss B in her pink bikini! Girl are so much fun!!!

So, here's a lot of pictures to catch you all up. We had a great birthday party for the kids. The cakes were fabulous as ever. Jacksons was a chocolate fighter jet. He is obsessed with anything and everything to do with being a soldier. His personal hero is Uncle Kevin because that's what his job is. Jackson has been saying for over a year now that when he grows up he wants to be a soldier.

Brooklyn's cake was a whismical version of her favorite blanket. Her Grammy made it for her and B doesn't sleep without it. The cake looked exactly like the blanket! Great idea Paula!!

I've also put one pic each of football and TBall. The computer was being really slow at downloading pics tonight, so one of each is all you get for now....sorry...

Brooklyn had her 1 year old dr visit. She weighs a healthy 23 pounds now. She is starting to pull herself up a lot on the furniture. She has even been brave once or twice and used only one hand. So I'm sure standing alone and walking are just around the corner.

The kids are doing great as you can see. And I.....am hanging tough. Hope everyone is doing well too.

Well....my baby is 7 today!! I can't believe it! Seven years ago today we had a 8 lb 13 oz baby boy at 12:13 am. He started out big, and continues to be big. Jackson was the most active kid I've met. He's kept me on my toes since he was little, and continues to do so now. I have so many favorite stories of Jackson, but one of my all time favorites I'll share. I think he was around 3. We had just moved into our home. My sister and Chad were over visiting as well as my mom. Jackson has always been my escape artist and this afternoon I couldn't find him. So a search party was sent out and everyone was looking. Outside, inside yelling his name. I was beginning to panic cause no one was finding him. I stopped and listened and heard a funny noise. I went to my bathroom to investigate. There was Jackson laying in the tub, bubbles and all, relaxing. He was so proud of himself for making his own bath. He's very good at giving his mom multiple heart attacks. We love you Jackson!!

Now......another birthday will be Monday...Miss B. One Years Old!!! How did that happen? My 6lb 10 oz so sweet baby girl has turned into a 23 lb screamin diva! She has discovered that the only form of communication she likes is screaming at the top of her lungs. She will do this for anything, if you're not feeding her fast enough, if you're not looking at her when she thinks you should, if her brothers are ignoring her, any reason at all. And wow can she scream! She obviously loves to eat! And she has been my least picky child of all. I absolutely adore her chubiness. She has the cutest tan lines in between her chub rolls on her arms. So some of the folks that read this may already know about the life changes going on with the Yearsley family. But, for those of you that may not know Jeff and I have been working through some problems over the last couple of years. And the last few months have been even more difficult and we have come to the decision that us going our separate ways is what is best for the both for us. We both realize that our attention needs to be on the kids and will continue to be the best of friends and devoted parents to our three fabulous kids.

Well, I haven't blogged in a couple weeks! That is so strange for me!! The kids are all doing fantastic. Jackson is still going strong in Tball and football. I do promise to get some pics on soon! The kids and I went to Utah last weekend and had a great time with my friend Holly and her boys. We went swimming one day and then to Hill Air Force Base and this great park that is like a pirate ship the next day. Kids had a blast, and mom got sunburned. Lesson learned, don't forget to sunscreen yourself as well as the kids!

Well, we've been busy playin and it's been fun! Jackson had a football game last night. It rained. I took some pictures, but since it was rainy they aren't that great. So if next weeks game is better I'll post some from then. After the game, his two friends Jake and Adam came over to spend the night. We stopped at the dollar store and got lots of candy, popped popcorn, and they watched Kicking and Screaming. It was the first time they had friends over and it went quite easy. They were asleep by 10:30.

Then this morning the four boys plus my sisters boy Paxton and I went to the summer movie today at The Reel. It was the veggietale movie, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. They really enjoyed it. After that we went to the park for the free lunch and they played. It's been 70 degrees today and we've soaked it up!!!

I work tomorrow at the hospital. Jeff is playing in a golf tournament. My mom and sister are having a hard sale here tomorrow and the kids get a babysitter, which they are excited about!!

Ok, so I swear that if this weather doesn't get warm soon, I'm moving to the east coast! I'm so jealous of their heat wave right now!

Today Jackson had a TBall game at 9 am. One of the very few I ge to even go to. So I bundled the kids up in what I thought was warm enough clothes ad off we went!! Reading the thermometer in the truck on the way....it say 40 degrees... Wow, it's gonng be chilly I think to myself. Chilly does not even begin to describe the cold wind blowing when we got out at the ball diamond. The kids were saying they were cold and wanted to go home before our feet even hit the sidewalk! But, we went. The coaches (bless them) deicided that we would only play one inning. Which was great, because for that whole inning Kaden did nothing but cry and say he wanted to go home. I think Miss B was in shock and didn't make a peep. Jackson on the other hand was still having fun playing. He made an awesome first catch of the game when his team was in the field, and then made a great hit when he was up to bat!!!

After the game we went home and the boys sipped hot chocolate while I cranked up the heater! Completely ridiculous since it is June 11!!!!!

So sorry for how slow I've been! My excuse is that my computer has caught a virus and runs at a snails pace! So everytime I get on to update, I get frustrated and give up!! But today, I decided that I had to do it! So.... Jeff's birthday cake is the pic on the bottom. It's a pool table obviously. Everyone thought it was cute and it tasted amazing! Yummy chocolate, can't go wrong!

The boys and I had a date night on Friday night. We went to Idaho Falls and ate at Leo's place, the went to see my girlfriend and her kids in a dance performance of The Wizard of Oz. It was so fun to watch! The boys really loved it! Kaden kept asking about the witch. My friend Karla was one of the witches in it, so after the show we hunted her down for a pic. As you can see Jackson thinks she looks fabulous. Where's Kaden you ask? He's standing with his face buried in my legs crying big crocodile tears saying "I don't like the witch" Oh well.... Now when he starts having nightmares about green faced witches, I won't have anyone to blame but myself. Besides that though, the performance was wonderful and we had a great date!!

Not to much else happening right now. Jackson continues playing TBall and Football. I get to finally make it to a TBall game on Wed, so I'll take some pics then and post them as soon as I get some patience!

Last Day of School!!!!/ Jeff's BDay!!!

Well, it's the last day of school!! YIPPEE!!! Jackson was pretty excited. I decided to celebrate with him, so I got up this morning made him blueberry pancakes and sausage and hot cocoa. Plus he's been asking since he learned how to ride his bike if he can ride to school. So after breakfast for everyone, Jeff attached my bike trailer and the kids and I rode with Jackson to school! That ride made me realize.....I'm outta shape!! Plus I gotta ride back at noon and ride with him home! Good thing the school is pretty close!!! The kids are loving the trailer though. Brooklyn was singing to us the whole way.

Today is Jeff's birthday...32!! He chose the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I think everyone from the my family and his parents will be there so we'll be quite the crew! I'll take pics and post them. I ordered him a cake from the cake queen Paula, so I'll post pictures of that too!

Jackson has offically started with TBall and Football practice now. So we're staying busy with practices for each twice a week. It's good to keep him active though!! He gets into much more mischief when he's bored!!

Today Jackson had an awards assembly at school. He received a perfect attendance award. He hasn't missed a day all year. Good Job Jackson!!! The last day of school is next week, the 29th. I think we're all excited for summer break! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Weekend!

Busy Bees!!!

Well, it seems like every time I get a chance to blog, I start by saying how busy we've been, but we have honestly been busy this week again!!

Last weekend was my home health weekend, so I was gone a lot. But I did make it back for a couple hours around lunch time on Mother's Day to see the kids and Jeff. They had together picked me out a new hot pink camera and the new Stephanie Meyer book The Host. Great choices huh? So the pictures on this are courtesey of the new camera.

Kaden was sick on Tuesday with a sore throat and fever, which he so kindly has shared with Jeff and I.

Friday afternoon, the kids and I took off to Twin Falls. We stopped at Shoshone Falls for an hour or so. I had never been, so it was neat to get to see something for the first time a long with the kids. They were really bummed that we couldn't go swimming in it though. We had a snowcone in the shade and then went to my Aunt Susie's house. Her oldest child JD had a music recital for graduating on Saturday so we stayed over and attended that. I drove quick into Boise Friday night and picked up my Uncle Randy for the get together. It was a great time seeing lots of family members at once. (Great seeing you Amber and Jeff! Love the baby bump!!)

Today I ran my Uncle up to Idaho Falls to catch an early morning flight. Then came home, made breakfast (including Cosco strawberries!!! Love them!!) then Jeff and I packed up the kids and went back to Idaho Falls to go to the zoo with Jeffs brother Scott, his wife Traci and their boys Nathan, Kyler, and Tristan. So it was a great day with everyone together! The cousins always love seeing each other!

Hope everyone is doing good. School is winding down to an end of course, so there are a few activites that Jackson has the next couple weeks. I'll post pictures as I get them.

Well.....Jackson did it!!! He learned to ride his bike without training wheels!!! He has a serious perma grin, and so does mom!!!! Way to go Buddy!!!! He was a way quick learner...only took a couple times of me letting go of him to get the hang of it!

Another week week just flew by!! Man I swear I wake up and it's Sunday and before I know if it's Friday again! So I worked Mon-Wed. this week. I also work this weekend at home health, so I'll be pretty busy the next while. Next week I work an odd schedule. I took Saturday off so I can attend my cousins graduation in Twin. It'll be fun to see extended family again!! So I work Mon Tues, have a class Wed night, then work Thurs. Whew....makes me tired just thinking about it!

The kids are doing good. Jackson got signed up for flag football this week. That should be starting the beginning of June I think. I love watching football!! I'm a total side lines mom, although.....my mom tends to yell louder then I do!! I may have to work on that this year!!! T Ball will be starting about the same time, so there will be sports pictures on soon! Kaden has calmed some this week. I think he sensed his death was near if he kept up his antics, so he backed off. Brooklyn had a well baby check up yesterday. She weighs 21 lbs. and is 27 inches long. I swear she weighs 30 but I guess the scale doesn't lie!! The Dr was asking me does she crawl....no, does she pull her self up....no, does she pick up her feet to walk if you hold her hands...no. I smiled at him and said..."Listen Doc, she just mastered the whole rolling thing...a princess can not be pushed. He laughed, said she is totally fine with everything. He thinks her size has a lot to do with her being behind on things. I told him I'm not worried. I like that she is immobile!! I have to chase her brothers around ya know!!!

I did get a call from Jeff on Monday while I was at work. He went to pick up Jackson from the bus....Guess what...no Jackson. Hmmmmm So I called around to a couple friends, no they hadn't seen Jackson. I called the school, talked to his teacher. A search party was sent out at the school. Everyone looking. Jeff called me fifteen minutes later or so. Said Jackson had walked home from school with a couple sixth graders from the neighboorhood!!! It's like 6 blocks!!! WHAT!?!?! So I called the school called off the search party after apologizing profusely!!! I swear these boys are going to give me gray hair!!! But, he was safe and hopefully has learned a lesson!!! RIDE THE BUS!!!

Hope all the moms out there have a super wonderful Mother's Day! To the two special moms of Jeff and I.....Thank you for all of the love and support you offer us everyday! We love you both very very much, even on the days we don't say it! Have a great weekend everyone!!

The Madness Continues......

So remember I asked for my sweet 3 year to return to me today?!?!? Yeah....not gonna happen. He has so far today.....smeared toothpaste all over the bathroom mirror, tried to wear my contacts, but dropped them in the garbage. (Do you know how much contacts are?!?!), got into my tinted moisturizer and used it like hand lotion, and played his game boy in the closet after pushing all of the towels out of the way.... Good Grief this kid has to stop!!! BUT, he has also crawled in my bed this morning, kissed me and said I love you, insisted that we wear our matching Red Bird shirts (until tinted moisturizer magically ended up on both of us), squeezed me around the neck and said Mom, I like you..... So I guess that'll make up for the mischief today.....

This is Miss B at lunch today.... that explains the messy face, but she was very happy and singing so I thought I'd try to capture a smile. It worked!!! She is so hard to get to smile sometimes! Plus, if you blow up the picture and look close, you can see her earrings!!!

So boy my blogging has slacked big time lately! Sorry everyone! Let me just catch you all up on life. Not much has been going on. Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day. The kids played outside, Jeff mowed the lawn even! They had all the trampoline parts out and were going to put it together. So here's some pics from that day.......

Sunday after church we went and had dinner at Jeff's folks house in Marsh Valley. Jeff's mom was flying out Tuesday to go to North Carolina. Jeff's sister, Melissa had a baby last Thursday.... a baby girl!! Yeah! So Wanda was very excited to be able to see her second granddaughter! Sophie Nicole is precious! I'm so glad that now Brooklyn has a girl cousin on the other side of the family too!!

This is a pic from yesterday....It was cold and windy so the boys couldn't go outside, so we hauled out the crayons and markers instead! It was a big bummer to the boys cause we had been to the park a couple times after dinner this last week. So much to their dismay they had to stay indoors yesterday....

And this folks.....is what we woke up to this morning!!! What the?!?!? SNOW!!! Come on!!! Jackson couldn't believe it! He walked to the window and said mom why did it have to snow??? I said son I'm asking myself the same thing! So my flip flops were replaced today with tennis shoes.... My toes are NOT happy!!!

Not much else is going on around here. Kaden has though decided that he is going to be a terror at the age of 3 instead of 2. Yesterday I came out of my room after getting dressed and he had so kindly made Brooklyn a bottle....with a quarter of a formula container!! Come on!!! Today he has already dumped out a container of salt all over the kitchen floor, dumped hand soap all over the bathroom counter, and wrote in my kitchen everywhere a three year old can reach with a magic marker!!! Grrrrrrrrr I have been scrambling to clean up every mess he makes today!!! I'm hoping he will go to bed tonight and wake up to be the sweet calm boy he was a couple days ago!!

I did try to take a pic of Miss B and her earrings, but it never turned out right. I had her pictures taken again at the studio yesterday, so I'm hoping that in one of them will be a good shot and I'll post that!

Here We Are!!!!!

We are here, we are alive, we are well!!! We've been so so busy!! Brooklyn and I went to Boise last week for a little girls trip. We were gone about a day and a half, but it was so nice to just shop and eat and hang out with the some fellow female family members! My sister, her daughter Tessa, my mom and my aunt Debbie were all there too! While we were shopping I thought to myself.....Self, B needs earrings.....so guess what?!?! Now Miss B has earrings!! So So cute. My mom was of course the only one with a camera, so this is the photo. I think it hurt me more then it hurt Brooklyn! But after a few sips on a bottle she was as happy as can be! I'm gonna take an up close picture after she wakes up from her nap and I'll post it tomorrow, so everyone can enjoy the marvelous bling in her ears! She thinks she is fabulous!!

Also last week we had a wedding. My Dad got married to Teresa on Saturday. So we've been pretty busy with that. We had family in from out of town so it was great to see all of them! It was a great time together.

On top of all of this we have had the usual life things of school, work, and the daily hustle and bustle. But, me and my blog are back!!! Thanks for missing us!!!

Ok, Ok, so here we are.... Such a busy week! Whew, I'm tired just remembering it! I worked until Wednesday, had a couple meetings yesterday. But on Tuesday night I got to get together with a great friend from high school Shenell and her girls. It was so fun to get to chat with someone I hadn't seen in such a long time! And our kids just hit off great. There was pizza, soda, soceer in the backyard. The youngest two were quiet for a little while, so Shenell and I went to investigate.... The picture is what we stumbled upon. They were having quite the fashion show with Miss B's clothes!!!

Jackson has his first slumber party tonight. His best little friend Adam is turning 7 and invited him over for tonight for a little Wii and some boy time! He's been asking me since Monday if it was Friday yet! I'm crossing my fingers that I don't get that midnite phone call that a little boy wants to come home. But, I'm fairly confident that Jackson will not do that. Kaden has been busy this week, just watching Sponge Bob and creating messes where ever he goes. He sure enjoys making them but NOT cleaning them up!!! And Miss B got her top tooth to finally break through! Horray!! After many long sleepless nights! Now.... for the other one... I'm hoping it's not as painful.... for her or for me!!! Hope everyone is doing fantastic! Enjoy the weekend!!!

Life continues as usual..... I'm pretty much recovered from my head cold. Kaden, not so much. He continues to have a fever off and on and be whiney!!! No one is enjoying that part of him these last few days! Brooklyn's top tooth has finally broke through a teeny bit, but still has a ways to go. Hopefully she'll be back to her happy self in no time! Here's a few pictures from Kaden and Brooklyn from today. Miss B has discovered how to roll consecutively, and she's loving that. She's able to reach a lot more toys that way! She also loves her toes. Kaden's outfit from today was just to priceless to not take a picture of today I didn't think. It's my home health weekend, and then my long week at the hospital, so if you don't hear from us for awhile, have no fear we are still around!!!

So Kaden and I are sick with colds. I'm hoping no one else gets it, but I'm sure luck won't be on our side with that one! Jackson has returned to school this week. It's good for him to get back in a routine! That kid needs structure! Brooklyn has been ultra grouchy this week teething! She's been waking up like twice a night the last few nights! Someone should tell her that her mommy has to get up way early for work and appreciates her sleep! :) But I just have to remind myself that pretty soon all my kids will be grown I'll wish that there was someone there to wake me up at night! But all I can dream about right now is.....SLEEP!!! On Sunday Kaden and I decided to make cupcakes. Jackson was suposed to help us, but he ditched us for the nieghbor kid. I guess the older they get, the less they think hanging out with mom is cool.... Sigh.... So Kaden and I made them and it was fun. He really liked helping. So these are a couple pictures from that. What a Week

So this week has been spring break. I worked the first part of the week, then Thursday the kids and I got new haircuts and i got a new color.....BLOND! And it's quite blond baby. I think I need a tan to even it out a little!!! So here's a pic, not the best of myself, but it'll do I suppose.

Friday the kids and I traveled to Twin Falls to spend the day with my aunt and her kids. It was a fun day of visiting, bowling for the kids and Cosco for me! I love that store! I'd never been until yesterday! I'm most excited that ours will be built by September! We'll be frequenting it a lot! Today being Saturday and one of the few I have off I decided to cash in my gift certificate to the spa this afternoon. I got a 30 minute massage and a one hour pedicure! HEAVEN!! It was nice to unwind a little! Tonight my uncle Randy and James and coming through town on their way home to Seattle, so we're off for a little adult time with them for dinner. The kids are always more excited to spend the night with a babysitter anyway! Hope everyone is doing well!

Here's a quick pic of the kids all dressed for church! Hope everyone has a great Easter together! We're off to Sizzler for dinner tonight with my mom, Kassandra, Chad and their kids, Jeff's friend Jack, Dad, Teresa, and Erica. It should be an enjoyable time together. I was going to cook for everyone, but we decided we'd go out instead. Give everyone a break from dishes and cooking! The kids got little bits of candy for Easter and one small toy they each chose. Jackson chose a paddle ball and Kaden chose a McQueen frisbie. Nothing too exciting this year. They always just want the candy anyway, so that's what we did. Hope everyone has a great week!!! Our spring break starts this week, but we're not planning anything special. Work work work as usual.

Today was my Saturday at the hospital. My friend Karla and I got new matching scrubs. Yes.....they are pink and brown skull and cross bones!! We're not sure what our patients will think of them, but we sure think they're cute!!

Jeff and the boys went to an Easter Egg hunt today. Brooklyn spent most of the day with my mom in Blackfoot. So an all around good day for everyone! Hope everyone has a great Easter!!

Not too much going on this week. Tonight I'm having a Scentsy party, so I've just been busy trying to get this place cleaned up. With two little boys distroying everything as fast as I can clean it, I'm not being too successful. Last night the boys and I decorated Easter Eggs. They turned out pretty cute. I made sure to pick the least messy kits!! It only involved dyeing them and then putting on stickers! Even I can handle that! They thought it was just great. Jackson was especially excited when I told him he could crack one when we were done. The look on his face was priceless when he realized that it wasn't going to spill everywhere. He was so confused! I got a pretty big kick out of it cause he was being so careful when he was tapping it on the counter! My dear sister in laws from Utah are on their way. We have 7 boys under the age of 8 between us, so it's going to be a WILD time at the Yearsley home tonight! I'll post some pics tommorrow of them together! So cute! So fun!

This is Miss B on St Patricks Day. My friend Karla found this great green bow for her! It's going to be our headband for St Patricks Day for many many years to come I think! It was a little big this year, but I'm sure it'll be great for next year!

Teddy Bear Clinic

Well, today was my day off from both jobs! So the boys and I spent the morning at the hospital. They hold something called the Teddy Bear Clinic every year. It's where you bring your favorite stuffed animal to the hospital to have them treated. It's a great way for the kids to get to see first hand how the hospital works. The boys just loved it! The helicopter was by far the most favorite sight! They each had their animals casted. Then they had their own vitals taken and got to see some instruments from the Operating Room. There was also face painting and a station to help get your hands clean when you wash them! It was super cute and super fun for all of us! It was nice just having some time with the boys and I. After we were done, we went and picked up Brooklyn and Daddy for lunch. We went to a new place that opened in town and all of us quite enjoyed it. Then we went to CAL Ranch because our little dog Molly has some issues with barking! But, alas no bark collar for dogs that weigh 7 pounds! But CAL Ranch did have baby chicks and ducks and bunnies for Easter! It was very hard to convince the boys that we did not need any of them to come home with us! It's been a good Saturday together...... Now off to do laundry!! Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Spring Fever

Well, it's offical.....my kids are ready for warmer weather! Today was 56 in town and the boys just loved it! I picked them up from daycare tonight and Jackson was outside with all the other "big" boys playing tackle football! He ran up to the car saying "I'm so sorry mom....I slipped in the mud" As he showed me his wet dirty shirt. Oh well....gotta love those boys! Kaden spent two hours outside jumping on the tramp at the babysitters. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he starts begging for us to put ours up. But, Jeff and I know that it usually snows at least once in April in Pocatello, so best to wait a little bit longer. Miss B has gotten her second tooth. If I could get her to hold her mouth open and pose I would take a picture, but that's next to impossible! Not much going on this week here. Just life as usualy. The time change is throwing us off though. Maybe I can get everyone to bed early?!?! Yeah right..... Hope everyone is doing great!!!!

Down on the Farm.....

The Yearsley family is alive for those of you that have been wondering!! Today the kids, Jeff and I, and my dad went down to the farm in McCammon. Dad wanted to show the kids the baby lambs and the baby horse. The boys just thought it was spectacular! Jackson especially enjoyed watching the lambs get their tails docked. All I can say about that is GROSS!!! Kaden loved sloshing around in the muck with his boots. Anytime there is mud involved and mom isn't screamin to get out, he's all about it! Brooklyn on the other hand wasn't that impressed. I promised her that in the future if we were going to be going some where cold, dirty, and stinky, that her and I would go to the mall and send the boys alone!! Ahhhh I'm thankful for my baby girl for so many reasons! After we got back in town dad treated us to an ice cream lunch. Another thing the boys were all about!! Jeff and I then went to Jackson's Parent Teacher Conference. His teacher just loves Jackson, says he's such a happy child, really smart, his only downfall is he needs to SLOW down. But, I've been saying that since he was a toddler!! So in the next few weeks I guess we will be working on taking our time with our work and making sure its complete and neat! Here are some pictures finally from the boys at swimming. They just love it! They are usually the last ones outta the pool! I haven't quite decided it I'm going to sign them up for next month too. I'm not sure if I'm up to it or not! Not much has gone on this week. Life as usual. The kids are all pretty much better from whatever it was they had recently. They each have a little bit of a cough left but no big deal. They are back to running around as usual! Hope everyone is doing well!!

Well, sorry that it's been such a long time in between posts! I warned ya though! But there has been a few outside influences that have prevented me from jumping on and updating everyone! One of them being my trip to Boise. Sister and I had a good time. She was pretty sick while we were there. She did amazingly well at the conference for feeling cruddy! She was worse at nights, that would explain why I was driving around Boise at midnight one night trying to get her to sleep! It worked, she did and back I went to the hotel! The other thing that have been roadblocks this weeks have been the fact that all of my kids have been this weekend! Jackson seems to have shaken it, Baby B is on her way to recovery, and Kaden is bringing up the rear. I stayed home with him today, so hopefully I can get him feeling better by tommorrow! And the last thing that has happened over the last week is.....my computer crashed! I called Dell yesterday and they had to do a factory restart....so needless to say all of my pictures that were there are gone now..... I was emotional at first, but figured, hey...lesson learned, get a backup hard drive right? So our week has been quite eventful with everything! But, I'm praying that this week will be a ton better! Hope all of you are staying healthy!

I realized after getting the kids ready for church that they were all wearing red, so I saw a photo opportunity..... It's so hard to get three kids to look at the camera at the same time....especially with the horrible delay my camera has! So....I decided to take 2 out of 3 kids looking at the camera and smiling...... I do have to say that they are pretty darn adorable!! But....I have to say that right?!?!

Well, here it is....... We got a 2007 Dodge Durango......We just couldn't bring ourselves to do the mini van thing. They told us that the gas milage isn't really that different, so we'll see. After I fill this sucker up a couple times I'll decide if it was worth it or not!!! Any one want to donate to the Yearsley gas fund? :) This week will be a busy one...the kids have swim lessons Mon and Wed. Brooklyn and I are leaving for Boise on Wed afternoon so I can attend a perinatology conference. It'll be nice to get away for a few days! So if the posts are short, that's why... Jackson doesn't have school tomorrow. He was excited about that! He gets to go to Daycare all day, which basically means he gets to play gamecube with his buddy all day! Fun!

My dad told me a funny story about Jackson today from yesterday. He watched the boys for us while we went and signed our life away! I guess he had taken the boys to his friends house to feed their horses, well the house is a Log house. Jackson told grandpa how he was sad that his friends were poor cause they could only afford a house of Lincoln Logs. Kids say the funniest things sometimes!

Saturday....Whoo Hoo!!! It's my first Sat off in like 6 weeks! Oranges can make for some good pictures! I remember a specific picture of my brother, sister, and I with orange wedges stuck in our mouth....If I could find it I would post it cause it's one of my favorites!! No big plans this weekend really, although Jeff and I are car shopping. It's come to the point where we don't have a choice and must get something bigger! It's just a matter of finding what we want for the price we want.......I'll let ya know how it turns out...Hope everyone has a spectacular weekend!!!

Happy Valentines day to everyone!!! These are the presents the kids got for the special day. They all got a card, and the Alvin and the Chipmunks soundtrack. Brooklyn got the singing dragon from Hallmark. The boys each got a Webkinz. Kadens is the monkey and Jacksons is the lepard. He had just told me that last week that the lepard was his favorite animal, so it worked out perfectly that I found one! Jackson has a party at school and Kaden has a party at Daycare, so everyone is super excited. By the way I forgot to mention that Brooklyns first tooth came in on Monday night. She's growing up! Today she is 7 months old!!! Hope everyone has a fantastic Valentine's Day!!!

Ordinary Life

Not much going on this week......I was very excited to see the sun shining yesterday, I opened all my blinds, we even BBQd steaks on the grill for dinner! I'm so in need of Spring, but then I look out the windows today and it's SNOWING!!! What?!? Say it isn't so!!! Maybe it won't stay! I can only hope! I was looking forward to afternoons at the park with the boys....guess that will have to wait! We filled out the boys Valentines last night. Valentines was always one of my favorite holidays at school. I just loved opening every little card. I remember that I would keep them for a couple weeks after the party and look at them all the time. I hope my kids enjoy it just as much as I did! I got the kids presents last night. I'll post pictures with them tomorrow. Can't wait to see their little faces. Aren't presents great? Just a quick funny story from Sunday.....Jackson and sister and I went to Petco to get some dog food for Molly. They have a treat bar where you can pick out some treats for your pets to purchase. So I told him to go ahead and pick out a some treats for her. He especially liked the way that these cookies for dogs looked, they even had creme filling. So sure put it in the bag and we'll get it. So we purchased a sack of treats and took them home to her. When we got there I let him give her one, but only one and put the rest away. About an hour later I went looking for the treats, couldn't find them any where.....Asked Jackson where's the treats? In his hand he had something as well as some crumbs on his cheek....after asking him what he had he pulls his hand within sight.....its the dog cookie with creme filling.......Are you kidding me? But it's really good mom.....Right.....

These are a couple pictures from Booklyn all dressed up for church today. Thanks Susie for the dress!!! This weekend was slow and easy. I had to work yesterday. Today was pizza for lunch after church. Jackson has been playing Harvest Moon on the gamecube most of the day. Kaden is just running around like a mad man snacking on anything he can!! That kid likes to eat! The sun is shining today, maybe we'll take a walk later. Most of our snow has melted off. Molly will actually go outside now cause our grass is showing now! Yesterday was a windy cold day! We only left the house in the morning to run to the Drs office for Brooklyn and Kaden. They are both doing fabulous! Yesterday was little rough due to shots though! I seriously contemplated putting my head in the toilet and flushing so I wouldn't have to listen to Kaden crying anymore! He cried for an hour straight about his owie leg!!! Death by three year old is what the headline would read!! Kaden weighs 38 lbs now and Brooklyn weighs 20 lbs and is 27 inches long. Guess I better come up with another car seat for her. I'm just not sure how to squish in a bigger seat to our little car! We better start shopping for a new vehicle. Let me tell you how excited I am for another car payment! HA! Well, today is grocery store day..Yippee!! Nothing like shopping with 2 kids, but I just don't think I can put it off any longer! We'll be eating cereal 3 meals a day if I don't.........

Our poor rat terrier Molly just HATES the snow!! I opened the front door this morning to let her out and she popped her head out the door and promptly turned around to come back in the house! I finally coaxed her outside, thankfully! Its snowing here today and supposed to continue through tomorrow. Tonight we have swim lessons. The boys are just loving it and I'm just loving that they fall into bed and go right to sleep after! I'll post some pictures if I can sneak in tonight and snap some. The rec center has some nazi rule about parents staying in the room behind the glass, but I'll see if I can get in. Hope everyone is staying warm in this chilly weather!

We went to Blackfoot today and spent the afternoon with Kassandra, Paxton, Tessa, and Grandma. I had to see some patients in Blackfoot tonight at bedtime, so we went up early to have pictures taken and eat dinner wtih them at Rupe's. Rupe's is a burger joint a la 50s so the kids always enjoy it! Plus the adults love the killer burgers, so everyone walks away happy!

The kids did great smiling. We even got a rare shot of Brooklyn sort of smiling. She's a pretty stoic kid, so to catch a grin is good! This is a picture of her in a dress that my mom wore when she was about this age.

Those brothers just love baby sister! We all think she's pretty great! Our gift from above.......

A rare moment when all the kids are sitting still and looking at the camera (sort of)...... There is never a dull moment when you get all five of these kidos together. Someone is usually always crying, or screaming, or yelling, or fighting, but it's such a great blessing that we can live so close by that the kids can grow up together. Built in best friends I say........

A Blustery Day

Sunday today......and it is a windy Sunday at that! The wind has been blowing all morning and now this afternoon too. It snowed just a skif while the kids and I were headed to church, but it didn't last long. Now is just windy and cold. A good day to stay in side and curl up with a good book I say.......

It seems like everyone I know is talking about the Twilight series...... So my curiosity was peaked and I read the first one. It was seriously delicious! So, now I'm onto the second one! I am loving every minute of it and hope that the second and third are as good as the first was! So...thanks to everyone who recommended them! I am just love love loving them!!!

I work the next 3 days at the hospital and then the weekend at Home Health. Never an idle moment in my life! I'm going to relax today and just read. The boys are busy with Gameboys and Jeff is finding some sports show of some kind to keep him entertained I'm sure. He's very excited for the Super Bowl next Sunday. The culmination of the year in football. I say BORING!! Darn I have to work!

A hoe hum day

Today is Friday.....my last day off since I work tomorrow.....It's going to be kind of a bummer day because I have a funeral to go to this afternoon and then a wake to go to tonight. This afternoon's funeral is for a girlfriend who lost her twins at 24 weeks gestation. Soooooo it won't be much fun at all!!! Tonight will be another sad night...its for another girlfriends dad who passed away..... Double yuck day!

But, later this afternoon I get to see my friend Nicole, so I'm sure she'll put a smile on my face! We don't have anything exciting planned this weekend. The kids get to spend tomorrow with their dad, so they always think that's fun!

Is it just me, or is January not a super depressing month? Christmas is over, money is short, the weather is definetly blah! AUGH!! I can hardly wait for spring! I need flowers and sunshine badly!!!

Maybe my next blog won't be so sad sounding! I'll work on that! No worries, we're all doing super fantastic!!! Hope all you are too!!!!

Busy Busy Busy

Whew!!! I'm tired just thinking back over the last few days! It's been pretty busy. Mainly just because it was my weekend to work at home health so I haven't been home much. But today is the start of 3 days off so I can catch up on lots of things! Today I took Kaden for an eye exam. I have been finding him with his face right up next to the tvs lately and he keeps telling me that he can't see. So I figured since we have eye insurance, might as well get his eyes examined! I'm happy to report that he can see great and doesn't need glasses! He was just foolin his mama. That mama is such a sucker sometimes! Hahaha He did so great at the office and I couldn't resist taking some pictures!

Everyone else is doing great. Jackson has grandparents night at school tomorrow night so he's pretty excited about that! He has his reading level tested at school last week, so he's happy that he can start picking some more advanced books to read! Then he goes to school and takes a test on the computer when he's have finished it. He thinks that pretty neat!

Brooklyn has started offically on fruits and vegies and is loving everything she tries! It's so fun to see how excited she gets when she is sitting in her high chair! I'm getting her 6 month pictures taken today, so I'll be sure to post some when I get them!

I get to have lunch with a dear friend tommorow who I haven't seen since May. She moved to Las Vegas, but I'm happy to say she's back so I'm excited to see her! Love ya Nicole!

Big Girl!!

Well, she did it! Brooklyn learned how to roll over from her belly to her back finally! And she also laughed! Jeff figured out what to do to make her do it! I was beginning to wonder if she even had a sense of humor at all. I tried to tickle her last night and she burst into tears! But, at least now I know that she can belly laugh and it was so wonderful to listen to! I kept making Jeff repeat what he was doing so I could hear her do it for longer!

Not much has gone on this week. Jackson did have an award assembly at school where he received a few awards for having perfect attendance. He was pretty excited about that. Too bad I missed it....I was working.

Tonight we're going out to dinner with my sister and her family and my mom for my mom's birthday. She chose Apple bees and we haven't been there in awhile so it wil be a fun time I'm sure. It's always wild when you take children out to eat at a restaurant!

Brown Eyed Girl

Our brown eyed baby girl is 6 months old today! I can't even believe it! She has changed so much in 6 short months! I think each child I have had seems to grow up faster then the one before! She is definetly the little princess in our family and is a great baby to end on. God knew what he was doing when he blessed us with her to round out our family! She has learned to sit up alone, but has yet to even try to roll over. I think she's the only baby I have had that wasn't rolling over by this point! But, that's totally fine with me! She's our "chunky monkey" and we wouldn't have her any other way! Her brothers absolutley adore her, as well as her daddy and I! We love you Sister and can't even begin to imagine life without you!

No School!!!

Today there was no school for Jackson. Something about Record Day. I swear kids these days are out of school more often then they are in it! I don't think I was ever out of class as much as they are! But, we took full advantage of the day off. We went to a place in town called The Outer Limits with Kassandra, Paxton and Tessa. The kids had fun playing on the gym toy and playing token games with me. Chicken Strips and fries for lunch was the common choice among all the boys! So it was a good time together. Jackson and Kaden chose these dracula teeth with their tickets from the games. The picture of Brooklyn is just from her nap today. I didn't want her to be left out! We don't have any big plans for the weekend. I have to work tomorrow so it will be Daddy day tomorrow for the kids! Hope everyone is doing well and not buried too much in snow! We haven't had any snow fall hardly at all this week, but I know many other people got quite a bit this week!

Brooklyn had her first bites of cereal last night. I thought I would share a few pictures. She will be 6 months old on Monday, so I thought it was close enough to let her start eating some solid foods. She loved it! So I guess now baby food will be added to my grocery list!

Monday Monday........It was back to the work week for the Yearsley family. Nothing too exciting..... I forgot to mention that Jackson had lost his second tooth last week. He was so anxious to get back to daycare cause in his mind Paula is the only one that can pull teeth the right way! Thank heavens! I think losing teeth is DISGUSTING!!! I refuse to aid him in the pulling of any loose tooth he has! So he was happy to return to Paula's house after school last Wed and promptly had her pull his tooth as soon as he walked through the door! So, the toothfairy made a last minute stop at our house at 7am on Thursday morning! Good thing that toothfairy remembered to leave the dollar under the pillow before she woke a little boy up for school! Silly toothfairy! She must be sleep deprived!

Jeff and I took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks last night. It was a great family time and the best part was we had popcorn and soda for dinner which meant that mom didn't have to cook! AMEN!!! I love to have a break from cooking and cleaning once in awhile! I figure a junk food dinner every so often won't kill them or stunt their growth too much! The kids loved the movie! It was pretty cute, although mom and dad would like to see a grown up movie soon! I guess there will be pleanty of time to catch up on grown up movies someday! There will come a day when the kids would rather go to the movies with their friends then with their parents! So for now I will enjoy all the kid movies I can!

Get Togethers

Whew!!! What a busy week we have had. We're back to our routine! YEAH!! Work was kind of slow with the holiday, but I'm sure it will be back to norm starting tomorrow. This weekend was busy with family get togethers. Yesterday we got together with Jeff's familiy, there was 22 of us at the Chuck-A-Rama in Idaho Falls! Talk about wild! With 10 little boys all under the age of 7 and one little baby girl, it was fun fun fun! The Chuck-A-Rama was a great idea for lunch cause all the kids could get what they wanted and there was no waiting! Then last night when we got back, we had dinner with my family including my dads brother, Randy, and my sister and her family. We were celebrating my dads birthday which is today. It was a fantastic meal of prime rib, potatoes, salad, and I made pumpkin cake. That prime rib was AWESOME! Thanks Randy for cookin! Nothing too exciting going on in the lives of the Yearsley's right now. But we'll keep you posted! Hope everyone is doing great!

Happy 2008 to all of our dear family and friends!

With the new year comes many New Years Resolutions for our family! They include Kaden becoming potty trained! (Ok, that's one of mine!), losing some extra baby weight (Ok, mine again!) , eating out less. (Alright, so these will all be for me!!!) But on the serious side, I hope that a resolution for our little family this year will be to spend more time together, and remembering just how lucky we truly are! I really want to try and embrace the saying at the top of my blog.....We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. Often times I myself tend to get too caught up in the day to day hustle and bustle and loose sight of the important things in life. So I may only get my floor mopped once a month, is this such a horrible thing if I have been able to spend quality time with my kids? Probably not. Is it a bad thing that we may not have the latest and greatest electronic gizmo? Again, no, if my kids have clothes to wear without holes in them and there is food in their bellies!

I was stressing at work one day about how I feel like my house is just not ever clean enough, and my friend told me something that they had heard....Your house should be clean enough to be healthy, but dirty enough to be happy! So I am really trying to learn to "let things go" and live in the moment with my kids. Because as many wise women whose children are grown and gone say, "Time goes by so quickly" I myself need to remember this in the coming year of 2008.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. It is nice that we have gotten back into our routine! May this coming year find all of you healthy, but more importantly.....HAPPY and TOGETHER!!!!

What a happy birthday Kaden had! He got what he wished for! A Diego cake and a Game boy. I made sure he opened his game boy last so that he wouldn't loose interest in the other presents! Thanks everyone who came last night and for all the marvelous presents he got! It was a very memorable 3 year birthday!

Kaden opened this card and told me it was a hat and promptly put it on his head!

Here is a picture of his Diego cake. When he turned around and saw it on the table he got a wide smile on his face and was way excited! He quickly ran and got a fork out of the drawer and said "I wanna take a bite!" It was torture for him to wait unitl he had eaten one piece of pizza and blown out the candles before he got to sample Diego! Another great cake made by Paula!

Kaden got to spend the day with his Grandpa going to Malad to pick up his Uncle Kevin's horse. I know that he had a marvelous time with his PaPa riding in his truck and playin cowboy! A great birthday for a little boy! He couldn't have asked for better!!! We love you Kaden!!! Hope you're day was great!!
